How Can I Tell When My Period Is Done

Show Miroslav Tichy

Photo taken from the country.

few days ago I went to see this exhibition in the new area of Ivory Press and the truth is that both the exhibition and the place I was very impressed.
The exhibition hall is very spacious, very comfortable and works of art "stable" that make it enjoyable. At the top is the library, which is very small, but has many photo books and architecture.
But what I want to say now is the exhibition of Miroslav tchiky: AWESOME! a discovery, the penalty is ending on April 15th and you can not go see it ... Along
exposure was projected a video of an interview I loved it, because you can get an idea of the personality of tchiky. It had things in her life, and showed the cave where he lives, full of garbage and surrounded by the photos that have been rescued. The video tells how he made the following objectives: took a piece of plexiglass and cut it to size I needed and then ash toothpaste and polished it until an objective "right." It also has built as a shutter curtain was very curious obtración mechanism, as it was a rubber band being stretched more or less forced open more or less the passage of light. The video
also shared philosophical thoughts algnas his life and his work, which is certainly not interested in anything. Initially going to be a painter, but explains that the photograph was passed by two things: that everything was painted, and that photography is painting with light , so it was devoted to taking pictures as a new form of parallel expression to painting. Both are dedicated to making pictures that are proposed to make 100 pictures a day, revealing photos and left lying around the house. Some were painted over, others framed with trash heaps. But almost all have one thing in common: they are stolen photos of women in her village, many of them half naked in the pool, and a morbid and voyeuristic air that make you special. I took some photos

with the PDA, the quality is bad enough, but what is important as the photos show is not technique, but the moment captured. I put 4 of them here:

In the first part of the room was a showcase with some of the cameras and targets was made, very curious. In the picture you can see a goal that was made from scrap materials.

In the main hall access your photos, as I said above almost all taken from a low viewpoint, I suppose because the camera's hidden in the waist, and capturing the women of her village: Photos a voyeur.

Some

pictures are painted on the back, silhouetting the female form, others are just dirty.

Some of them has bothered to make a framework but a framework made of waste materials: plastic pieces sewn, traces of cartons. painting watermarks on the edges that give a special appearance.

In summary, a highly recommended show and I did spend some time trying to think and act the photographer while making pictures. That if the technical quality was poor, did not worry about that. And I think also not worried about the artistic quality, it seems to me that his obsession were the women of her village, but this might not be saying, as it has become a kind of myth of contemporary art.
